The Veuve du Vernay range of sparkling wines is made in the famed French wine region of Burgundy and was founded in the 1960s by winemaker Robert Charmat. He named his wines for a widow in the town of Vernay who helped his father during his own early winemaking days. ‘Veuve’ in French means ‘widow’. In NZ our Veuve du Vernay range includes a Brut, Brut Rosé, Ice, Ice Rosé, and a recently released 0% alcohol expression. It is available in 750ml for celebration and any occasions with family and friends, and 200ml convenient format which gives great flexibility for outdoor picnics and single use.
